Oils 8/10 glazed on board

Maria Kellner: I started painting in 2005, I'm mostly self taught, I have attended several workshops with the help of DVD's and books and after some experimentation with several styles ,I now have a passion for realism, I love to capture the glowing colours & details in my work ,it can take several months for some of my work to be completed. I belong to Bankstown Art Society have recently entered some of my work and have received several awards a First prize and several Highly Commended.The more I learn the more I want to learn is my passion for art, it is an amazing journey that has just begun.I had a long life passion for art now my time has come to pursue it. The Artist that has inspired me the most is Susan Harrison Tustain with whom I have attended a workshop. I live in Sydney Australia I have a Son,Daughter & 2 grandsons.
